Community Partnerships
Crystal Beach Public School recognizes the importance of a positive ongoing relationship with our community: neighbours, whether they be our next door neighbours, local businesses or social service clubs and agencies. We thank our partners for their support.
We have an on-site childcare, Crystal Beach Childcare. The Childcare contributes to all our fundraising activities, and the owner, Debbie Lake, is part of our Parent Council.
We are also the site of an Ontario Early Years Centre, which is a busy community gathering place for parents and young children.
The Boys and Girls Club use our school for their supper club two evenings weekly during the school year.
The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority, through the Canopies for Kids program, planted 25 trees in our schoolyard.
Donations to our Breakfast Club come from a number of local groups. Niagara Nutrition Partners funds our morning snack program. Peoples Memorial United Church donated to our breakfast program. The Bowen Road Women's Institute have given us knitted items for winter. The Friends of Crystal Beach help and also donate to our Community Easter Egg Hunt. Community Policing donate to our Easter Egg Hunt. Our Easter Egg Hunt drew 350 people from all over Fort Erie.
Volunteers do many tasks around the school, including food preparation. Many community groups are very generous to our students.
